Compared to traditional air-source systems, Trane water-source VRF systems operating at full load can deliver an average heating coefficient of performance that’s up to 31 percent higher — and an average cooling EER that’s up to 26 percent higher.

And because maintenance requirements impact operating budgets too, Trane water-source VRF systems are designed to induce turbulence within the brazed plate heat exchanger to reduce internal scaling and fouling.
