R-Series Ductless Systems

Available in multiple efficiency ranges to best match your needs, Trane^® R-Series ductless systems deliver efficient heating and cooling for smaller spaces. All product categories incorporate inverter technology in a split system that uses one outdoor condensing unit and one indoor, high-wall fan-coil unit. R-Series ductless systems support pipe runs of up to 65 vertical feet, and up to 130 total feet. All models are rated for cooling operation to 0° F and heating operation to -4° F (certain models).

All R-Series ductless systems include features designed to enhance user comfort and utilize the latest inverter and control technology to maintain a long life while minimizing energy usage.

Ultra-high-efficiency systems are rated at up to 27 SEER. They provide an exceptional combination of quiet comfort and the lowest possible operating costs in this series, with cooling capacities ranging from 3/4 ton to 2 tons.

High-efficiency systems are rated at up to 22 SEER. These systems are available in a wider cooling capacity range of 3/4 ton to 3 tons, so they can be ideal for temperature control in larger spaces.

Medium-efficiency systems are rated at 16 SEER. With a cooling capacity range from 3/4 ton to 2 tons, they can be perfect for smaller room comfort applications. These ductless systems are also well suited to function in cooling-only mode for control of temperatures in spaces that contain heat-generating equipment, such as computer server rooms. Medium-efficiency systems are offered for both heat pump and cooling applications.
